Nick Ashford & Valerie Simpson are one of the most prolific songwriting teams in history. They started working together at Motown in the late 60s and Simpson got a reputation as a very strong record producer who knew exactly what she wanted. The two eventually got married and started recording on their own. They continued to write and produce music for others like I'm Every Woman for Chaka Khan. They had several hits on Capitol in the 80s which are all on this collection. Some of them are a little dated but Found A cure is a good song if a little long.
