Bill Withers was a tremendous singer songwriter who had several big hits in the 70s including Lovely Day which he didn't write. Sussex Records tried to rip him off for royalties. He sued and among other things received ownership of his recordings which he sold to Columbia. This Greatest Hits comp is OK but Sony recently released a 2CD comp called Lovely Day:The Very Best Of Bill Withers that is more complete. His music is great listening.
