A couple of announcements were made yesterday regarding the appearance of joshi puroresu living legend Jaguar Yokota at two special shows. NEO announced that they are holding a two day event in Niigata on July 13 & 14. This is sponsored by Niigata University and will include a professional wrestling training seminar hosted by Jaguar Yokota. The July 13 show will be at the Nagaoka City Public Welfare Hall. Jaguar Yokota will team with Arisa Nakajima against opponents to be announced. The July 14 show will be at Niigata University. Jaguar Yokota will team with Ayumi Kurihara against opponents to be announced. Yumiko Hotta & Manami Toyota are scheduled to appear and I assume the usual NEO wrestlers will appear too.
JD Star has announced some of the matches and participants for their July 16 finale at Shin-kiba 1st Ring. As they announced previously, the plan is to focus on the complete history of the promotion. Yumi Ohka's exhibition match was already announced. They have also added a battle royal, some sort of match between JD Regular Army and Heel Army Corps ST'S (Superstars). There will also be Grapple Beauty Selection matches. Those scheduled to wrestle include Yumi Ohka, Fuuka, Shuu Shibutani, Misaki Ohata, Jaguar Yokota, Megumi Yabushita, Haruka Matsuo, Hiroyo Muto, GAMI, Bullfight Sora, Kyoko Kimura, Cherry, Ayumi Kurihara, Yuri Urai & Hiroyo Matsumoto. Scheduled to appear but not wrestle include Lioness Asuka, The Bloody, Fang Suzuki, MARU, Ran Maru, Mizuho Ishikawa, Kei Akiyama and other Athtresses who may not have been in the business for very long. JD Star doesn't have any other shows scheduled and they will announce more participants soon.
