Pro Wrestling WAVE held a press conference Friday to announce the full card for their Aug. 26 debut show at Shin-kiba 1st Ring. The already announced main event will be Yumi Ohka & Michiko Ohmukai vs Toshie Uematsu & Ran YuYu. As GAMI said at their initial press conference, the company plans to tell you what kind of match you will see in advance. So this match is titled Main Event-Resurrection WAVE. So the descriptions are basic. I guess they want fans to get used to it.
The opener is called Opening WAVE and will have Kyoko Kimura vs GAMI. A couple of days ago, the company announced on their website that KAORU will appear on the show. She will be in a match titled Challenge WAVE against Shuu Shibutani. I guess the young wrestler is challenging the veteran. Then it's rookie WAVE with the sisters Io & Bi vs Hiroyo Matsumoto & Misaki Ohata. And of course there has to be Comical WAVE with Tanny Mouse & Yuki Miyazaki (NEO Machine Gunz) vs GAMI & either Commando Bolshoi or the Bolshoi Kid. They haven't decided. Except for the opener and the main event, the match order will be decided on the day of the show. WAVE will announce the card for the Sept. 3 Osaka show next week. As I said previously, other than finding a new money mark, I don't see these shows as being much different from the shows GAMI produced as THE WOMAN. That's a problem.
