All Japan Women revival announced

Of course we all know that All Japan Women had their farewell show in April 2005. There's been a little bit of confusion because there has been a company known as NEW All Japan Women. The deal was that the Matsunagas licensed the name on the condition that they use the word "New" and only run shows outside Tokyo. The New AJW has been dormant since August. Recently Chigusa Nagayo announced that she plans to promote an All Japan Women 40th anniversary show in May 2008 if she can get the Matsunagas to agree to it. It has been announced on the Zenjoism website that New AJW will now be called AJW. Zenjoism was the official site of the New AJW. And AJW president Matsunaga has told Lady's Ring Magazine that he has agreed to revive AJW. Obviously we don't know yet if this is a one shot deal but I'm sure the legendary red belt (WWWA Singles Title) will be revived. It has been inactive since Kumiko Maekawa's retirement in Mar. 2006. And it looks like a significant return to the joshi business for Chigusa Nagayo as a promoter. This could be very interesting.
