Today we got some fallout from last week's AWA decision to strip Saki Maemura of the AWA World Womens Championship. The Chick Fights SUN website says that president Nakamura is very upset with the AWA board of directors. The response from AWA representative and Hawaii Championship president Linda Bade (pictured) is that all future decisions regarding the AWA World Womens Championship will be made by HCW and not SUN. Who's Linda Bade? She's a TV producer in Hawaii and co-owner of HCW with Don Muraco. She also says that if Nakamura doesn't behave himself in his dealings with the AWA, SUN will be expelled from the AWA. Nakamura says he is upset and believes that Maemura should still be the champ. The AWA decision is supposed to be announced on Nov. 9. Bade says she wants to continue the International Chick Fights Alliance and the decision will be fair. I wonder if she's coming to the Chick Fight J tournament final next week.
