Fuuka and shot boxing?

Fuuka is making the media rounds to promote the upcoming DVD release of Viva Mexico. This features her appearance on the Ultimo Dragon show in Mexico City. She did an interview with Sportsnavi which I'll get into in a moment but she also visited Nikkan Sports & Sponichi and the newspaper edition of Sponichi quoted her as saying she plans to become a full time shot boxer. Nikkan quoted something similar. The Sponichi website clarified this today. Fuuka said on her blog that she is training in shot boxing and may do some later this year but isn't leaving wrestling yet. It looks like miscommunication but Fuuka has to watch what she says to reporters. Not much to her interview on Sportsnavi. She says she didn't like the food in Mexico. She says when she goes there in the future she's bringing ramen with her. She says it was awesome working in front of 18,000 fans in Arena Mexico. She's also having her next Fuuka Matsuri show in her hometown of Nara on Aug. 31. She says fans can expect more Kakimoto Family Theater. Oh joy. She also said she wants to do a plancha outside the ring though she doesn't actually do that move. The DVD will be out Aug. 20. She's done MMA before so I wouldn't be surprised if she gets into it if she retires from wrestling if she doesn't fill Korakuen Hall next March. Not that anyone believes that she will retire.
