Kana wrestles and will design your website

The Naigai Times posted an interview with Kana today and I thought fans would like to know a little more about her. Her full name is Kanako Ura born Sept. 26, 1984 in Osaka. She was a fan of Yoshimoto Pro (JD) and also was interested in graphic design. She trained in ARSION which became A To Z and debuted June 16, 2004 at Korakuen Hall. At the same time, she was studying graphic design in junior college. Kana graduated from junior college and went to work for an ad agency. Then she was forced to quit the wrestling business in March 2006 because of chronic nephritis. She was disappointed that she had to leave as the joshi business was not in good condition at that time. She believes that the joshi companies need to promote themselves better outside their usual fanbase. They're not doing a very good job right now. Kana also started a new web design company in July. She's the boss there. Kana wants to prove that she can be successful at both professions. As we have seen recently with Ayumi Kurihara, it's a very good idea for wrestlers to have an outside business with more longevity than pro wrestling. Of course Kana is currently part of Nanae Takahashi's Passion Red group and works for most of the joshi feds.
