Erika Kamimura wins first international championship

Erika Kamimura nails Denise Mellor with a left hook
I'll tell you this much. 18 year old kickboxing phenom Erika Kamimura is on a roll. She already has the WPMF and WMC Flyweight Championships and the 2011 SHOOT BOXING S-Girls Cup. Today at Korakuen Hall, she challenged Denise Mellor for the WBC Muay Thai International Flyweight Championship. Several fans asked me how I thought she would do. Look, she has smoked everyone who has been put in front of her. She has tremendous power and technique for a kid. I didn't see Denise having much luck with Erika. It was over very quickly. Erika came out throwing bombs and it wasn't long before a left hook knocked Denise's mouthpiece out of her mouth. Erika continued with a barrage of punches with Denise trapped in the corner. Denise went down. When she got up, Erika nailed her with an elbow and two left hooks and it was over. Erika Kamimura wins the WBC Muay Thai International Flyweight Championship at 1:49 of round one. Apparently WBC Muay Thai has a world title and Erika is in line for a shot at that title. And of course she has the SHOOT BOXING showdown with RENA coming up in November. Earth's Strongest High School Student Erika Kamimura is becoming a star and there's plenty of buzz surrounding her. I will be watching her activities.
