Rin Nakai files harassment complaint with police

Rin Nakai posted on her blog today that she went to the police station to file a harassment complaint. She said something about slander and lies over the internet. Obviously she can't go into details. She says she will pull back from the public eye while this is under police investigation. I assume they already have a suspect. She says she will continue to train and plans to return to MMA. She says she's not quitting. Rin is thinking about leaving Japan and training overseas but she says she will need sponsorship to do that. I'd like to see her come to the US. This kind of thing is not unheard of for female athletes in Japan. Some fans can get really weird. Remember a few months ago a man was arrested for threatening Pro Wrestling WAVE's Moeka Haruhi. He had been stalking her for a couple of years and was arrested when he turned up at a WAVE show in Tokyo. He threatened to kill her. So obviously it is very disturbing and hopefully the police conclude their investigation soon and arrest the suspect.
