Former California high school wrestling champ to make MMA debut on Dec. 15 JEWELS show

JEWELS added more matches to the Dec. 15 Differ Ariake show today. One of them is interesting. The other two not so much. In a match contracted for 65kg, women's MMA pioneer Megumi Yabushita will face former California high school wrestling champ Jade Marie Anderson. Though Yabushita was a pioneer, today she's not very good. Her record is 19-20 and her last fight was a loss to Shizuka Sugiyama on the July 21 JEWELS show. She last won in 2010. At this point, she should probably quit MMA. She still does pro wrestling too. Jade Marie Anderson is from Simi Valley, CA and was a high school wrestling champ. At one time, she was ranked #2 by USA Wrestling. She now trains at Team Mad in Korea so she is a teammate of Ham Seo Hee. This will be her MMA debut. In a match contracted for 51kg, Miyoko will face Celine Haga. Miyoko trains at Grabaka. Her record is 3-4-1 and her last fight was a draw against Mamiko Mizoguchi on the Oct. 11 Grabaka show. Celine trains at Team Hellboy Hansen in Norway. Her record is 2-11 and she won her last fight over anna on the Sept. 22 JEWELS show. They have also put Emi Tomimatsu in a Shoot Boxing match. Shoot Boxing in a cage? I guess quantity is more important than quality.
