Kana's final match in Japan

Today Kana ran her final Kanapro show in a sold out Korakuen Hall. And you should know by now that she is moving to Orlando to work for the WWE. The show began with a video history of Kana's career. Then Kana thanked the fans for coming and got applause from the crowd when she mentioned the WWE. In her match, she teamed with Syuri and Hikaru Shida vs Arisa Nakajima, Ryo Mizunami and Rina Yamashita. As she did in her final REINA appearance, Kana danced with Syuri and Shida which is not something Kana would normally do. Syuri was a dancer before she got into pro wrestling. The match went a half hour with all the wrestlers on the show getting involved. Kana won the fall over Yamashita with her cross face chicken wing finisher. Afterwards, Kana hugged Syuri and Shida and even Nakajima who she had a bitter feud with in JWP. She thanked the fans for coming and said that though she is leaving, women's wrestling in Japan has a great future led by the five women in the ring. She thanked everyone again and said she is off to the WWE to great applause. When asked afterwards about the WWE, she said she is going to the WWE to be the center of the Divas division. Kana was in Orlando last Thursday for the NXT TV tapings. They taped a contract signing segment and she revealed that her ring name in the WWE will be Asuka which is Japanese for future. She was also confronted by Dana Brooke so I guess we will find out if Kana can carry her to a good match. Dana is a bodybuilder trying to become a WWE wrestler. She's very inexperienced. Obviously the WWE likes her look. But historically they haven't had much luck turning bodybuilders into wrestlers. I guess they are depending on Kana to make her look like a million bucks. We'll see how that goes.
