The UFC announced this afternoon that Joanne Calderwood is out and Rose Namajunas will face Paige VanZant in the main event of the Dec. 10 UFC show at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. This show will air on UFC Fight Pass. Paige's Team Alpha Male teammate Justin Buchholz spilled the beans on this a couple of days ago. It's still a big step up in competition for Paige though I think Rose is a much different fighter than Joanne. She's quicker and she's better on the ground. Rose is coming off a recent win over Angela Hill. Because this is scheduled for five rounds, endurance could be an issue. Who has the best gas tank? Both fighters have been heavily hyped by the UFC. Who will live up to the hype?
