The UFC announced today that Lina Lansberg vs Veronica Macedo has been added to UFC Fight Night 107 Mar. 18 at the O2 Arena in London. This will air on UFC Fight Pass. Lina is from Sweden. She was brought in to get clobbered by Cris Cyborg and it's hard to tell if she's any good based on that fight. She is known as The Elbow Princess so I guess she's a striker. Veronica was born in Venezuela but she now lives in Poznan, Poland. She was brought in as a late replacement for the Sept. UFC show in Germany. She ran out of gas during her fight and lost to Ashlee Evans-Smith by third round TKO. She is also undersized for a Bantamweight. A full camp might help her but she's used to fighting a lot so maybe it won't matter. Veronica is 21 years old and Lina is 34. So Veronica likely has a better upside. This fight should give us a clear picture on if either fighter has a UFC future.
